Description

Theory and research on the role of communication in creating and maintaining family relationships. Topics include the meaning of narratives and stories, family roles and rules, decision-making, conflict, power, communication changes through the family life cycle. Course content focuses on the analysis and management of communication messages, behaviors, and conflicts.
