Description

This course introduces students to a visual and narrative portrait of African American heritage, culture and people. The course will chronicle important periods in African American history that have shaped the outlook, lives and hopes of African Americans today. Students will be exposed to poetry, songs, music, literature and personalities that created the African American legacy and heritage.
