Description

Students will learn the historical, philosophical and social issues of early childhood education in both theory and practical application. Characteristics of play and creativity will be integrated with classroom organization in order to learn how to create positive learning environments for a range of infants through elementary age students based on child development theory. Ten clock hours of observation in an early childhood setting are required. Prerequisites: EDU 110.
